Dear followers,
As some of you are aware, I went almost a year without internet. In my opinion Tumblr isn’t something you just come back to, so I’ve created a new one to start fresh. Unfortunately I don’t feel very connected with other Mass Effect fans right now. Instead of defending BioWare despite its recent fuck-ups like the loyal fan I am and always will be, I have resolved not to argue about any of it anymore. The story—from beginning to end—was a worthwhile experience, and, until more about Mass Effect 4 and Dragon Age 3 is revealed, I really want no part in either fandoms. In the meantime, I’m done with debates about color-changing epilogues and “Fenders” benders.
Other than that, to my followers, thank you. I never thought I’d reach as many as I did.
This blog may or may not be deleted in the future, but it likely will not be updated again.

Or flashlight, in my case.

I love this. I used to wonder about this myself until having a similar conversation with Leliana from Dragon Age: Origins, in which the Warden tells her, “Evil doesn’t worry about being good.”

“Shepard knows Thane still holds feelings for his wife and he knows Shepard still loves Kaidan, but somehow they find comfort in each other because of it.”

Does Thane have a cigarette in his hand? Should the Drell with the lung problems really be smoking?
It’s not a cigarette. It’s a joint.
I would know; this screenshot is mine. :)

Alright, I get it. Thane’s romance in ME3 was horrendous. He was my LI, too. But you’re upset because he was at peace? I just don’t get it. Wouldn’t you want the person you love to be at peace?
I just barely understand the Dewey Decimal System, and yet I’m applying for a job as a library page.
How stupid is this?

“M!Shepard’s female romances are pregnant after ME2, but they don’t tell him in fear he won’t want to keep the baby. The same goes for Fem!Shepard’s male romances, with her as the pregnant one (of course). With Fem!Shep and Liara, it could be either way depending on the player’s choice.”

I’ve come across some pretty “out there” headcanons and I try to stay out of it, because, hey, somebody else’s headcanons are none of my business. And I’m positive somebody’s already beat me to the punch on this one but, sweetie, humans can’t cross-breed with aliens unless they’re asari and even then, the asari chooses to become pregnant. It isn’t accidental.
Also, Miranda is barren and, because Shepard has similar genetic modifications post-resurrection, she might be barren too. I think of it has one of the many drawbacks of being a superhuman capable of living well beyond the average human lifespan (around 150 years in ME).
Just to let my new followers know, you won’t be seeing anything new from me for a while. :) But thanks for following!
So, I’m going old school and started reading books again. Just in case, yanno, people were wondering where I was.
